Here’s how a holiday lighting job goes, from your first call through to takedown.

The Consultation and Your Quote

Reach out by phone, text, or our website. We text you right away to say we're calling, then follow up by phone. Most properties we handle over that call; complex ones get an in-person consultation. Either way, you get your quote on that first conversation.

Photos and Your Free Night-Time Mock-Up

We photograph the front of your property and build a digital mock-up that shows the finished display glowing after dark. You see exactly what you're getting, sent over before anything goes up and before you commit.

Deposit and Booking Your Date

Once you approve the look, a deposit holds your spot and orders your lights. We book the install date, usually within a week, and send a reminder text before the day.

Install Day

The crew runs the C9 bulbs along the rooflines, down the sides, and through the front landscaping. We do second-story work from ladders and keep the display even and clean from one end to the other.

The Walkthrough

Once the lights are up, we walk the property with you and check the whole display. We fix anything that isn't right on the spot before we leave.

Takedown and Storage

Removal starts about a week after the holiday, and your lights stay up for at least 30 days. We take them down and store them, ready to go back up next season.

What Holiday Lighting Installation Costs by the Linear Foot

Holiday lighting is priced by the linear foot of the display. The height of the house, the pitch of the roof, and how involved the design is drive the price. We quote commercial properties the same way, and we set the final figure when we give you your quote.

  • Up to $3 per linear foot, with most homes running $1,500 to $2,500 and a $1,000 minimum. Taller homes, steeper roofs, and more elaborate displays fall higher in that range, and we price businesses on the same per-foot basis.

A few discounts apply:

  • Returning customers get a discount the following season, based on the job size. We’ll have the figure for you at quote time.
  • Military members and veterans get 10% off.
  • Seniors on a fixed income get 10% off.

Free Fixes While Your Lights Are Up

As long as your lights are up, if a bulb fails or a strand comes down because of a manufacturer or installation problem, we’ll come back and fix it for free. We respond to service calls within 72 hours, with emergency call-outs available for events and outages. We repair damage from an outside cause, like a broken bulb or a pulled-down strand, for a surcharge.

Johnny sent over Reuben to clean off the top of my Alumawood PatioCover. Previous companies just cleaned off the debris and left. JM Pressure Washers did an outstanding job above and beyond the call of duty. My downspouts were blocked for years and Ruben took his time clearing them out. He not only cleared the debris on top, but he power washed the entire thing! I could not believe the reasonable price I was quoted for all of that work. If you have any job You need to get done that JM Can do, I would recommend them very very highly!

Booking opens October 1 for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so early fall is the time to call. From there, we can usually have your install on the calendar within a week. Lights for other holidays are booked on request.
A simple display takes about 4 hours. More involved properties can run up to two days, depending on the size of the home, the roofline, and how elaborate the design is.
